As mental health professionals, legal and ethical challenges are everywhere. Not to mention how complicated some of these dynamics become when inviting multiple members of a family system into the therapeutic process! In this continuing education workshop, we will address the unique legal and ethical challenges being faced by Utah mental health professionals. This program will give participants real-world dilemmas, with engaging discussion about problem recognition, definition, exploration, and decision-making. Through this program, participants will understand how to effectively anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve legal and ethical concerns in their professional work.
